Toughest Girls of the Galaxy 2

Raging Heroes has started their newest Kickstarter for their Toughest Girls of the Galaxy 2. This time featuring Dark Elves and Sisters usable in both Fantasy and Sci-Fi. It started at 11 am Eastern Time today and blew through it's funding goal and all published stretch goals in the first 5 minutes and is currently at over 900% funded. It's going until April 8, so check it out.

As you can see on my current backed Kickstarter list, my obsession with Kickstarting continues. However, I foudn this one that I think will be useful for many 40k players out there.

The Necrons are Coming!

I know I have been radio silent for a while. Life intrudes. However, I finally had some time to hobby and I started on my loved, but put on the back burner, Necrons. With the dawn of the new book I got inspired to work on them. I haven't played them since 4th edition, back when they only had a handful of different units.

Starting Work on Death Korps

I know I have been not posting much lately. Just been so busy with work and kids birthdays and other stuff. I finally sat down and started working on a prototype paint job for my Death Korps of Krieg. I think I like it. I checke dout pictures of WWI German uniforms (yes, I know, they're a mixture of multiple nationalities from WWI) and settled on German Grey with red underside for the coat. Gloves and boots are black, and leg wraps and mask are in Steel Legion Drab. Next up is shading and them highlighting. Then I'll work on the base (a trench works base from Secret Weapon Miniatures) and I have some Stirland Mud to dirty up his outfit and the base.

Deredeo Dreadnaught from Forge World

We've seen the pictures for a little while now, but now the Deredeo Dreadnaught is up for pre-order. You have to buy it in three parts. The main body for £35, the cannon arms for £18 and the Missile Launcher for £12. So £55 in total (about $82.50 US). Experimental rules are posted as well as a free download. So what do you get for 83 bucks? 13/12/11 armor, BS5, S6, 1 A, 3 HP, Atomantic Shielding, and a Helical Targeting Array. All coming in at 185 points. That's the relevant stats.
